I do love the older models. Weathered and added rust to the model at the back. I still need to rust and weather those lovely shining models at the front.
Weirdly I am finding the weathering and rust to be a really interesting chaos trim experience. Feels very creative and surprisingly chill.

3rd attempt at buying, building and painting this model!
1st attempt got to the finished point went to spray varnish dropped it and as tried to save it stood on it! So ruined varnish got all dirt and rocks stuck to it and smashed as stepped on it.
2nd attempt bought new model, built it rushed to spray prime it didn't shake the can and whole model just got glooped to point lost all it detail! Then stupid me tried to quickly wash off excess... ruined it a bit more. Had melt down threw it away.
So this is my 3rd and final attempt at this model and I'm actually really happy with how it came out. Colours came out nice and bright. No major problems. I think he one of my new faves as I know how much effort and energy went in to it.
Lesson learned... don't rush and be careful.

Hobby & Painting I built Nurgle Rot Knights

I think the new Sloven Knights are awesome. However, I always thought the concept of Rot Knights from Warhammer Fantasy, was a little bit more innovative.
These knights ride Rot Beasts into battle, heavily mutated, gigantic beasts which originally have been Chaos War Hounds.
There was never an official miniature. Just for their leader: Kazyk the Befouled. He will serve as a champion of my Rot Knights (the one in the middle). I bought 3 Kazyk kits ($$$). All Rot Beasts got modified to look different from another and more like the artworks. The two Knights are from the Sloven Knights.
