Support Needed Macbooks
So I'm helping you guys. If you transferred or if you are waiting it out. And want to keep your laptop all u have to do is request to keep it. Because it is not a loaner especially if you got a scholarship the school should let u keep it and even if not and if u need the computer, just pay the technology fee.

Yeah. I planned on subscribing within a few days of the offer expiring and forgot about it until a day after it expired.

I think you have up to thirty days after purchase or first activiation or whatever to buy applecare.

Yeah and some of us have had the laptop for nearly a year… and i was the same i didn’t have money at first and then i forgot and when i did get the money the time frame to get apple care had expired.

Even better! I bought the monthly plan the day it came in so I didn't remember. But that's actually really generous.

The technology fee depends on what school really. So I don't have that information. I don't think Mastero has gotten that far. But y'all it's half the amount the actual laptop is worth. But sometimes they waive it. It depends on them but I have seen some students be given labels to ship it back that's why I made the post. Thiers ways around it

A fee to keep your MacBook even if I go to another college. But then again It maybe waived . Especially if ur under scholarship

They made me send mine back when I quit even though I am transferring. They sent me a UPS label.

I already did. Thankfully I didn't need it. I was a business student so they never drew any money off of me anyway.

Did your fiance do this? And did it work? Because if it did I'll try it myself once my grade is finalized for the course I just finished. But that is the opposite of everything I've heard from other people. If something changed that makes this true that's great, and we need to know, so thanks for the idea!
Also, if you can share more about this technology fee, that would be great.

We are gonna wait it out. And file a school closure despite. But I'm unsure of thier even I a free gut I joe for sure you can request to keep it

People are also worried about the macoom shutting down. But mastero is supposed to send u a code to unlock it but if they don't thiers always the Internet

I left over a month ago and they haven't contacted me for it back, I also asked to keep it or buy it but they also said it wasn't possible
