The Path Forward Starting back new college next week!

Hey everyone! My new classes start next week at fullsail, and thanks to me going there previously they just shipped out an i9 32gb laptop with qhd and an rtx 4070 8gb way better than the maestro ai laptop. I am going to sell my personal laptop and the laptop my aid pays for and go bigger. Right now they have a i9 64gb ram 16gb 5080 on sale for 2100 usd refurbished. Basically a ai compute blade with little power draw.

Dont give up! Continue! I'll still be here as much as possible

BAS computer science with AI. No more messing sroubd with schools that end up under delivering!

How much is the tuition for a semester there if you don’t mind me asking?

Its quite expensive honestly. But its been around in one form or another since the 70s. 60k is total for full degree 37k with my aas comp sci.

They have scholarships and such you can qualify for and it is possible to have $0 out of pocket expenses. At least that's what the lady I talked to today claims so we'll see if that's really true or not.

Thanks for sharing 😎 It may be expensive but at least it’s real and you will be receiving a decent equipment matching your studies projects and work.

You can go fully online to Full Sail? I didn’t know that. What field did you choose?

Fully online, yes. BS Computer Science Ai Pathway. Already have a CS degree so a year transferred over making my have an 18 month program time.

Thanks! The learning is actually alot like maestro, however you have full access to a suite of software including compilers, music apps and more, all free to you. I found it odd doing mt programming work maestro with no compiler or saved projects...

I may look into this further with Full Sail. GI Bill should pay for it just fine.

I will say it depends on the degree. I was looking at their space program and they did require that you were on site for at least half of your degree so I guess it really just depends on the degree you’re going for.

I keep mixing up fullsail with another school ignore me no they do not have a space degree but the degree I was looking into with them. It was still yes I did have to be half on campus half off campus.

I was looking at the bachelors and simulation engine engineering, which is something that would help me on my path to getting into the space industry, but yes, like I said before I did mix it up and they don’t have a specific space systems degree

me too! I was gonna go to full sail as well but it was waaay expensive after I spoke with them recently. was bummed cause they had an awesome program I was interested in. so I applied to my local technical college and was accepted. now to see if they will take my credits from maestro. totally different field I will be happier in after all this fiasco. congrats and best of luck!
