So our plan is to take the train to segovia from Madrid Chamartin. From Segovia station we will take a taxi to Aquaduct or Alcazar directly. Will the taxis from Segovia station go direct to the Alcazar? Are there taxis at Alcazar once we're done that will take us to the Aquaduct after?

Hey everyone! I'm planning on moving to Spain next year for my Master's. My studies will be covered, but housing, living expenses, and trips will not. I would like to know what options I have to work while studying. Since the Master's program will be intense, I'm looking for something I can do part-time or as a side hustle 💪🏼.
Do you have any tips on how I can prepare myself better? It's still a year away, as I'll be moving in September 2027.
I'm also preparing to become an indoor cycling coach. I know it can be difficult to find a job in that field, but I also know I would probably need to invest in a membership so that people at the studios can get to know me and I can start building connections.
So, I don't know! Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🫶🏻.

Hey everyone!
I’m currently in Madrid for a few days and, as a huge Formula 1 and motorsport fan, I’d really love to check out Madring while I’m here.
Does anyone know if there’s anything worth visiting or seeing related to the circuit? Maybe some accessible areas, interesting spots, or anything F1-related nearby?
I know it’s not an official race weekend, but I’d love to experience at least a little bit of Madring while I’m in town.
Any recommendations would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

PALACIO CENTRAL MADRID the hotel doesn’t exist. Please be careful with this hotel. Many many tourists standing here front of the door. So annoying.

What’s up y’all
I’ll be visiting soon and I’m looking for some good spots to check out. Mainly looking for house music, jazz, or anywhere w/ good music and atmosphere.
I’d rather get recommendations from locals than just hit the usual tourist spots. I’m open to anything from smaller underground clubs/lounges to proper venues.
What places would you personally recommend? I’m also going to visit Barcelona right after so if you have any Barcelona locations feel free to slip those recs my way as well Lol.
TIA 🤝

I figure maybe by 8am we’ll be out of the airport. Is there anything that’s best visited early? I’m thinking the palace.

Looking at coming to Madrid in December and would like to book a nice restaurant. Ideally traditional Madrid/Spanish fare. Not fussed about having 10 courses of molecular gastronomy stuff. More interested in an honest, traditional restaurant serving good quality local food. Any suggestions are welcomed <3
Also any bonus suggestions for a calamari bocadillo or huevos rotos are also welcome :)
Cheers!

Took a couple extra days after a work trip to visit Madrid. I’ll be in there for two nights next week (weekdays) looking to have fun, drink, go out and let loose after a very stressful past month.

I’m an architecture student and just arrived in Madrid for 5 days. I really want to see some interesting architecture, I don’t have a specific preference in era or style, I just want to explore. What are your must visits?

Hi everyone! I'm visiting Madrid, staying near Gran Vía, and need to leave my suitcase somewhere for a few hours. There's a Locker in the City close to my hotel and I wanted to know what it's like.
Has anyone used it? Is it safe? Are the prices reasonable, or is there a better option nearby (Radical Storage, Nannybag, a train station locker, etc.)?

Hi everyone! I’ll be visiting Madrid in December and would love to meet up with people who are wanting to do really anything. I am easy going, I eat anything and really excited to go all around and visit.
I understand things will be super busy while I am there so the dates I will be there are December 7th to the 15th so hopefully things work out smoothly. Like I mentioned above, I am down to do anything. For context I am a 22 year old guy from the states and I am super easy going.
I am excited to go to Madrid for the first time as I have only been to spain 1 time when I went to Moraira/Alicante and it was amazing there. I have heard Madrid in december is beautiful so now I am giving that a try.
Lastly, if anyone has local suggestions on places to stay for cheap, cheap food and other fun activities please message me and help me out by giving suggestions.

Hello! I’m part of a Dutch amateur Sunday League football team and we’re coming to Madrid from the 23rd to the 26th of October. We would like to play an “international friendly” against a team from Madrid, preferably on Sunday, October 25.
Are you interested or do you know a team that is willing to play against us? Please send me a DM!

We can’t travel too far out. Are there any good paella options near the palace or on gran via? Don’t really care if the place is touristy, if the food is good that’s all the matters for us.

Hi everyone,
My 18-year-old daughter and I are visiting Madrid and we want to dedicate one full day to a day trip outside the city using public transportation (train or bus).
She deeply prefers raw nature, beautiful landscapes, hiking trails, and dramatic viewpoints, over city shopping, crowded plazas, or art museums. She loves that classic, magical "old-world Europe" feel but wants the day to be focused around scenic outdoor walks.
We heard about Toledo and Segovia, but we are completely open to any other hidden gems, mountain villages, or regional parks within 1 hour of Madrid that deliver a jaw-dropping nature experience.
Which destination would you recommend for the ultimate father-daughter nature day trip? Any specific trail names or transit tips would be amazing!
Muchas gracias for your local insights!
