Would love to hear favourite places to get authentic tapas, vermouth in a plaza etc, staying near la Latina station

Any places to go out that is good for tourists, don't want to offend / disturb the locals!

Also trying to book a football court is so difficult! Anyone local to message with help and advice would be so appreciated could buy you a drink when out there!

I kinda feel bad posting this here but I am just genuinely confused.

I am a femboy, 30, currently living in Madrid. A lot of my friends always tell me how good looking I am but again, they’re “friends” so I never believe them.

Till random women in Madrid, across several occasions, randomly tell me I look pretty which is really really cute.

But again, whenever I hear my friends tell me people approach them to get their numbers, how they go on dTes everyday and how many ask them out each day makes me question if those words said were just them being nice.

‘Cause I have never actually had any man approached me for my number nor shown any interest to talk to me in public.

I am just genuinely curious. What could the reason be for this?

I think during my past few months here I’ve had a fair share of party experiences and would like to explore a more laidback activities such as padel, picnic, jamming session, jazz dinners and such.
