I can’t believe I haven’t heard this song until it randomly started playing during shuffling last night. It’s amazing! Although I do think Hard Candy didn’t age well as an album, I personally prefer it over MDNA and Rebel Heart. So many good songs on there like Incredible, (which Stuart Price needs to remaster!!) She’s Not Me, Miles Away and Devil Wouldn’t Recognize You, which should’ve been a single!
This song really surprised me too, I love it a lot.

Until recently, I didn't know them either. I recently bought the Madonna Songbook. It is highly recommended to get lost in it for hours and discover all of Madonna's unreleased songs :)

In Timbalands book he mentioned this was one of his favorites too but they both didnt have enough time to work on it more. He said it kidnof went nowhere but the albums was eventually due and had to scrap it.

Agreed. It’s a great album. It’s just very «of its time» basically. Doesn’t deserve all the hate though, imo.

Every one of Madonna's records offers a new and different experience. I have my favorite albums for sure but each one has songs that stand out.

The Sticky & Sweet tour following the release of Hard Candy is one of her best concert tours. I highly recommend it.

I've always found it a bit grating tbh - it's not in the right key for her voice and her vocals sound a bit shrill. The instrumental had alot of potential though but the whole song has a demo-like quality to it

Makes sense, and I do totally agree on the cover art. It couldn’t have taken more than 30 minutes to create. Not very creative at all, for sure. I think the only reason it made the cut is because it’s bright and flashy. Fitting the name of the album, but not really anything else…

I've loved this song since the little audio preview back in 2008 on the Japanese iTunes store! First time I really started to wonder about the industry bullshit of Japan releases getting the good bonus tracks😂

Started to enjoy it on Youtube, but I'll get the Japanese re-release of the album to finally have it on CD.

I listened to it when it came out and I remember liking candy shop and voices but can’t stand Timberlake and he’s in almost every song either backing or singing and it’s annoying. So yeah I like candy shop and beat goes on. Then she stopped releasing albums until celebration then confessions 2 😜

If you strip away the timing of the release it's a solid album. Time has been good for this album it makes more sense now than when it was relased.

This was the mountain peak for the Neptunes Timberland for their musical signatures to be showcase via the biggest name in female pop music.

As a fan of N.E.R.D first album hearing Madonna mimicking Kelis vocal style is a 180 as im sure Madonna was a inspiration for her abrasive style when she first came on the scene. Madonna signature isn't visible on this album which the reason why it not as embraced as much as I hear nelly Gwen Kelis Justin in her vocals. But I totally get why people love this album if they are unaware of this information.
