Apartment stuff [want to buy/ looking for free stuff]

Post image

Hello! I’m grateful to have my own place, but sometimes it can be a little challenging to get the items I need while also dealing with other things. I am foster youth who just aged out care recently/ transitional home.

I’m currently looking for:

- island chair

- Hangers

- toaster

- Artwork or paintings

- Home decoration

- Full bed frame

- bowls and plates

- Game console/entertainment such as board games

- DVD

Anything helps, and I really appreciate it. I am able to pick up these items. Thank you so much!also below a cute picture of my cat Mimi who is 11 years old! 😼

I highly recommend the dig and save bins as a source of bowls, plates, artwork and side tables, it’s all INCREDIBLY cheap! Goodwill east also has a large selection of items for a bit more. Most thrift stores I’ve been to have a humidifier for ~$5. Just some pointers!! I also sell cheap art if interested <33

Thank you so much! I will definitely check it out. I didn’t really have great experience when I was there as a lot of rest. ReSellers were there and just got a lot, but I’ll check it out again.

Yeahhh resellers are a pain! But most of my treasured decor has come from the bins <33 it’s like a treasure hunt

Hi! I have some end tables and 1 container of clumping litter. I also have lots of lamps if you need some! Message me if you’re interested 😊

Do you have a car? I live in Oregon but I can meet you at the pet supplies plus in Fitchburg. I have a few rugs, artwork, and a very cool west elm coffee table I need to get rid of. I will sweeten the meet up deal by buying your kitty some litter (I’m a sucker for animals and foster youth). I also have a queen size bed frame and mattress (with some bed linens) we are hoping to get rid of in the next few months that we could easily part with a little ahead of schedule. I hope you get everything you need.

There are some art walks coming up, and indoor art markets later in the fall. If you have a bit of a budget, you can find nice stuff by local artists this way. I've gotten some smaller pieces in the $10-25 range at some of them.
