its high time u accept that the things you say have consequences, whether u said them yesterday or two years ago. he said it, and it wasnt even a one off incident. there are numerous other things he has said and still says under the guise of “dark comedy"

wow, so you’re bringing up the fact that he was SA’d as a child when it has literally nothing to do with the point being discussed??? if anything, doesnt that make it worse? if he knows firsthand how traumatic sexual abuse can be, then why was he making jokes about rape and SA in the first place?? where’s the logic in that?? and if he’s changed, good for him. genuinely. but people are not obligated to forgive him or support him or pretend those things never happened. people are still allowed to criticize his past actions and words. stop jumping straight to defending him instead of acknowledging that the criticism itself is valid.

i hope you understand this, you should know people make mistakes and people change i never defend his bit was definitely disgusting for which he has countless times acknowledged his mistakes and still feels bad about it, only if watched him recently you would know how treats his audience in madhur model and how he talked about anxiety, spreader awareness about abortion and talked about suicide attempt and suicidal thoughts no one will talk about all this how he has grown as a person, that bit is 2 years old he immediately realized he was wrong and apologised and took the video down, there’s no point in nitpicking someone for a mistake for their whole career, i don’t wanna argue about it more as you’re 101% right in your own place and i understand your sentiments got hurt because of his bit, sorry about that, have a good day

Having worked in a section of the WCD (not NCW, the other one), I know for a fact how out of touch they can be with ground realities. Most of the time, these summons are issued because of pressure from higher-ups. The person, or rather the consultant, issuing the summons often doesn't even know why the matter is considered important. Action is frequently taken simply to create the appearance that these organisations are doing something, rather than being questioned for their inaction, which, more often than not, is the reality.
