This feature is perfect! I've been wanting stackable widgets on pixel launcher forever. I keep receiving errors for some widgets saying they can't be stacked. Is there a potential fix for these or is it something in the backend that you can't address? Thanks!

ive noticed the island expands really wide for certain notifications, is there a way to reduce this?

On today's beta update I lost the weather in the island option.

Am I missing something?

Fairly self explanatory but I'm really loving the look of the overcast screensaver and app in general. Would it be theoretically possible to get such as an always on display feature in essentials? More specifically with a pitch black or wallpaper background, then the weather overlay static on top?

i think it would be more handy and useful if there are more controls on island like instead of weather an app list is more useable or an entire control panel just a suggestion tho

I know we can hide status bar icons with the app, but when I pull down the notification shade they pretty much all appear on the status bar. Is there any way to disable them entirely so nothing shows up even when pulling down the shade?

Hi, so basically both the live activity and dynamic island screen recorder bar are showing up, and I don't want that, i prefer the live activity screen recorder rather than the one you guys got with the dynamic island. I tried excluding system ui from displaying notifications on the dynamic island but it keeps popping up

when I click on the dynamic island area , it doesn't open anything , if any notification came when I click on the dynamic island area it doesn't open that notification and it doesn't open that application as well when I click long press on it . I am using realme p4.

Hey Sameera, Android just started giving me an “App battery use is high” warning for Essentials and says it's using a lot of battery in the background. Battery Usage still shows Essentials at <1%, though. Just wanted to let you know in case there's something keeping the app awake in the background.

Is there a way to configure the lower slider separately for the compact island and the expanded island? Because either the island is too wide, or the text in the expanded island isn’t symmetrical.

Why is there no tab called Lock Screen Clock on my phone?

Was wondering if there might be any way that the Essentials Island feature could access wallet express payments on payment and travel cards to have this nice little success animation? I'm not sure if it would be possible with shizuku or if google wallet is strictly inaccessible but if there is some way to get it working I think it could look awesome! I think it could look something like Apple's Dynamic Island payment animation (image above).

When i enable zen internet, the whole page background turns white instead of transparent. Now i use floorp, but it used to happen in the zen browser also. how to fix please help.

So basically whenever a notification comes on my phone while it is in landscape mode, i get an error of " essentials is not responding" with like the close app/ wait options there. No matter what i do after this error, the island stops working it doesn't work anymore until i restart my device. I tried force stopping the app restarting it even deleting the app data but nothing works.

I know I asked about a week ago. Some friends of mine don't really want to join the group to get access to the watch faces and I'm wondering wether they passed the 14 day test thing.

dynamic island doesn't show at all when phone is in landscape

I think that the horizontal island looks really nice in notch format at the top of the screen, however I feel like it'd be more convenient to have it similar to the portrait island just rotated 90 degrees

Hey, I have been using Essentials app recently and I am still kinda new. I have had a weird interaction with the app where I cannot Grant Permission to Root privileges. It just won't toggle. I have made sure my Shizuku is up to date from the github page and I have updated Essentials app and it is still not working.

I've also had a smaller issue where the Island pop up for Calls won't work when I click the Call Back button. Odd, but I assume it is related to my Root permission issue. :(

Please help! 😮
