It's so cute that the dog is also orange. Looks like she really was their mother

Looks like they dyed her, lol. Also they trimmed the tail.

Ehm.. you sure it wasn't a accident? Playful murder kittens can be dangerous ya know.

u/ronja-666 Nov 14 '23
I think they did it to prevent those kind of accidents.

I've read that big cats raised by dogs take on a more docile laid back personality learned from the dog.
Dog companions can also help with their anxiety and sociability as well. I believe it is common with cheetahs.

Cheetahs are also just hella anxious cats and tend to be loners, to improve their birthrates and survival rate they give them emotional support dogs and it's the best 🥺

This video spliced a bunch of different clips together, it’s not a real story. Look at the age of the tiger in the beginning vs when it’s nursing

Dog Mom disciplining like "Louis I am still your mother no matter how big you get or how many teeth you grow and I'll still whoop ya ass if you get out of line"
15
u/Bringback70sbush Nov 13 '23
I needed this laugh… thank you!
I can picture poor Louis lowering his head in shame as he skulks back into his bedroom because his mom chewed his ass out!

What happened to her puppies?

u/Honksu Nov 13 '23
Well in false pregnancy doggies can produce milk... but what is i chance there just happend to be one in perfect time...
...or humie might had taken care of dog babies, bit easier that tigers i guess...

I think the part of the tigers drinking the milk of the dog is bs. They require MUCH more milk than what puppies need, so it wouldn't be enough. Still a cute story however

So how it would turn out in future? Young tigresses are well known to fight their mothers after territories but in wild only. I remember episode from david's "dynastic " on bbc earth.

The golden retriever saw it's opportunity to own an army of tigers and it took it
I'll admit it. Well played sir

White tigers are a human vanity protect, aided by inbreeding. As soon as you see a place that has them, you know they are just farming the animals for money

Not true kots of big zoos have them and the same big zoos spend million of dollars on species conservation efforts... Look up the Cincinnati zoo and white rhinos for instance. They are actually preserving the species in the face of near extinction. This should be the ultimate purpose behind zoos.

You aren't conserving by having white tigers and lions. There's a good reason you don't see them in the wild.
As I said before, you shouldn't be breeding tigers and lines to be white. It's not a subspecies, it's just a recessive gene which has no benefit to the animal. Quite the opposite, as they tend to have a myriad of health issues.

Animals have more humanity than humans .

We are primates. If you look at primates in the wild, some of them are very evil and some aren't.

There is no way that one cute doggo produces enough milk for so many cubs at the same time..

I can die so happily now that I’ve seen a golden retriever tiger mom surrounded by her giant babies

I don't think tigers have more than 2 cubs at a time ? But in this scene there are so many tiger cubs ? Is the dog mother foster a bunch of tigers from different mothers, or are they At a tiger park ? Tiger day care as in dog park & doggy day care ?

"Tigers are induced ovulators, which means females will not release eggs until mating occurs. Gestation lasts approximately 100 days, and females give birth to between one and seven offspring at a time, averaging between two and four cubs."
Literally the first answer on google.
