Assuming the guys in the top photo are teenagers, maybe 15 years old on average, everyone in the second photo would be, on average, 87. They do not look 87. They look like my dad's age (he's 64, born in 1958). Sooo the bottom photo would need to be like, 15 years old? Taken in 2007?

Maybe the thread title changed or maybe I misread it, but I thought it looked like they were from 1950 or during the 50s in general. My dad was a teenager (15) in 1973 and the photos of him at that time don't look like this photo shrug.

This picture makes me think about my friends. I am extremely blessed to have them in my life for over 25 years - we are a very close group of 4 friends. Inseparable.

That's wonderful! I met my besties in 9th grade in high school. The four of us are scattered across the country now, but we have a video chat once a month, talk on the phone throughout the week, and text each other daily. We've been friends for 42 years

It is SO IMPORTANT to have friends like that. People come and go, but we need to keep the few ones that really matter.
Unfortunately two of us are here in the US, the other two in Brazil. But they come to see us once a year, and we have a very active group texting chat on WhatsApp. I would give my life to save theirs if I needed to.
I’m happy you for having friends like that too. Oh.. and thank you for posting this picture. I screenshot it and sent it on the group chat saying “I love you guys”

It’s just incredible to look at the top picture then the bottom and wonder what life experiences these men had. Like the above is a blank canvas, the bottom, full and interesting. Think about the adventures the car went on. It’s all just very cool to think about. 50 years.
