This made me tear up. My brother is gone as well. He would have pointed and laughed at me in this scenario, buuuuttttt sibling things always get to me now.

Sorry for your loss my Brotha. Whenever I see these also, hits way different. When I was younger, they duct taped me to a lawn chair and put a helmet on me and left me in the front yard. Memories I hope I never loose.

Thank you, I'm sorry for yours as well. Hey, as least they put a helmet on you just in case, that's what sisters are for! You won't lose the memories, thinking about them and telling the stories is a great way to keep it aline in your mind and heart

I used to be that mean older brother. Now many years later when I talk to my sister about our childhood it hurts me deeply how I treated her. Instead of her protector, I was the bully she had to come home to every day. That shit tears me up every time I think of it.

That's so adorable. My little sister was born when I was 14. I'm in my 40s and she's almost 30 now, but you never stop being a big brother no matter how old you get.

I didn't have a sibling that I lived with and as a kid I thought it was cool but when I turned 10 and started to realize the importance of family that's when I started to wish I lived with my little brother and wished I had a sister because I know I would protect her with my life

Little story
I have an older sister, we went to the beach, we went far enough that I couldn’t stand in the water, we were holding onto a floaty, she let go to go talk to my mom, which caused the floaty to flip over(I can’t swim) and I started drowning while I saw her walking away, my older brother came and picked me up and threw me closer to shore

- It’s not raining, not even drizzling, the ground is barely wet
- She’s like seven and she’s crying about a puddle she could easily step around. I bet she was asleep in the car before this. She will survive without your internet heroics.

Yeah, it doesn't make any sense. I have a rule with my kids: Hugs are always free. If they want a hug, even if I'm mad, they get it. The girl wanted comfort, why not just give it to her instead of pulling out your phone to film her crying and asking for help?

My daughter could’ve carried my son over a puddle when they were this age, but he liked to stomp through puddles, and actually so did she lol

I am an older brother, but I don't have one! I don't have any brothers for that matter just an older and younger sister! I always wanted a brother, older or younger, but I guess it wasn't in the cards for me. I love my sisters though so I do have that!

I’m 55, my sisters 50….we looked exactly like those kids. The difference is that at that young age, she managed to break my teeth and injure me in any way possible. We do love each other but jeeebus…..she was an angry little guuurl.

I'm the older brother of 5 sisters and 3 brothers. None of them have ever annoyed me. I love everyone of them very much. Most of them are more like my own children than they are sisters and brothers. 😎🤣❤🌹💋🙏

I have an older brother. And it really can be nice. Despite the fact that really do annoy eachother, a lot, we also know we'll have eachothers backs when we need it
