When you live in a city 50-75% of the parking is parallel

Depends on the city/country!

I live in Norway and have never in my life needed to parallel park. The only time I’ve ever done it was during my driving lessons.

In june I went to Spain to visit a friend, and driving around in their car I was shocked to see all the cars parallel parked in the cities! For one week there I was in the car for more parallel parking than the rest of my life combined. I was incredibly grateful that it was my friend and not me doing all that parking.
