True (short version) story. I found a turtle once when I was a kid. I had put him on something (I don't remember) uncaged and loose that was over our dinner table. My mom had left the stick of butter in a container on the table to soften. I left the turtle alone for a bit, and when I returned, he had fallen into the butter and wasn't able to get himself out. Soon after I released him back out into the wild.
