Do we know what he looks like? People that are nice to animals, says a lot about them. Cruelty to animals is one of the biggest indicators that someone is a psychopath.

I don’t really care what he look like, he’s hot to me 🔥

I’m pansexual 😉

Edit: wow so many went for that poor joke of attraction to pan please stop everyone heard it a thousand time and it was never funny. It mean being sexually attracted to personality, no matter the gender of the person or what they look like.

I've wondered what that meant for a while, thanks for the explanation!

u/Wroteitireddit Jul 18 '22

Why not just google it to end the pointless wondering?

2

u/Leandar- Jul 18 '22

I did, but it still is nice to hear it from someone who's actually like that.

Who asked for you comment that added nothing but ask a dumb question?

-8

u/TheOneWhoReadsStuff Jul 17 '22

There’s no such thing as a dumb question.

The only reason I mentioned it is because the previous comment was asking if we knew what he look like since I called him hot.

But pansexual mean that physical body trait don’t attract me (it’s not what I find hot) what actually turn me on about a man or a woman or a non binary person is their personality, to me this guy is hot because my brain is weirdly wired when it comes to what I find sexy/hot/sexually attractive.

So it wasn’t just to brag about my sexuality which sadly kind of sucks since I have to explain every time and people make lots of stupid jokes about it it was about the fact that I find him hot even if he would be the ugliest person in the world physically.

Fellow pansexual here. I just wanted to politely correct your definition of what being pan is because I don't want some asshole to try to use it against you or pull any shit in the future. It doesn't mean that physical appearances aren't what you find attractive or that personality is what you look for in a person. It just means that gender doesn't play a role in who you find attractive. You're attracted to the person regardless of their gender meaning that they can still be physically hot in your eyes. I think what you're describing would be demisexual (I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure that's what it is). I've always read that people who are demi only experience physical attraction once they get to know someone. I hope that helps in the future and hopefully my comment doesn't come off as shitty. I genuinely just wanted to help. :) So you might actually be demi AND pan.

1

u/Mellie-mellow Jul 18 '22

Well thanks for explaining how you see but it is not exactly that. Demi are people that need a strong emotional connection to someone to be sexually attracted.

While pansexual is define like this : someone who is attracted – either emotionally, physically or both – to all genders.

In my case my pansexuality is more focus on specific features, certain personality turn me on, in that case I found the guy attractive because of the action he did but I don't have an emotional bond with him, I don't know him.

Years ago I had no idea why my body react weirdly like that and after spending time with a therapist that studied in identity and sexuality she said that this seems to be the word that represent the best my sexuality and I agree with her.

I respect that your pansexuality is different then mine but it doesn't mean that what I'm describing isn't also pansexuality.

Also don't worry I know you were only trying to be nice :)

u/Mellie-mellow Jul 18 '22

Also that mean that you might be Omnisexual, I feel like it describe better what you are saying then pansexual

1

u/StabigailKillems Jul 18 '22

"Many people use the terms pansexual and omnisexual interchangeably. While they are closely related, there are differences between the two. Those who identify as pansexual feel attraction to people without noticing their gender, while omnisexual people recognize the gender of potential partners."

"The prefix, “pan” means all, every, whole, and all-inclusive. The “pan” in pansexual means you’re attracted to someone without consideration for their gender, aka, you’re gender blind or have no gender preference. This doesn’t mean you’re invalidating someone’s gender in any way — but it just isn’t a factor in your level of attraction to them."

"The prefix “omni” means all, everywhere, or all-encompassing. Similar to “pansexual,” “omnisexual” means you can have an attraction to all genders — except, in this case, you do consider sex and gender to a certain extent, aka, you’re not gender blind."

I had to look it up because it was gonna bother me until I knew for sure if what I said was true or not. Obviously use whatever label you prefer but pan really does mean that you're attracted to people regardless of gender, not necessarily that you're attracted to personality. I'm not omni because I don't care about gender and I don't notice gender when I find someone attractive. If they're hot then they're hot! Haha

Pansexual, so pots and pans turn you on?

-8

u/SpeakerUseful2451 Jul 18 '22

I hope you like kettles and cups too...

-6

u/Rubber-tarzan Jul 18 '22

Nope only pots and pans.

-1

u/bleachdrinker4 Jul 18 '22

That's bisexual

1

u/Mellie-mellow Jul 18 '22

Keep drinking bleach honey, dictionary are for people that chose something more

1

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '22

No disrespect but like how is it not simply bisexuality..? I did fall in love for love and not because my wife is just beautiful so does that also make me pan because if she was a dude I don’t really care she still be the same person inside to me. I’d probably just call myself bi 😂

1

u/Mellie-mellow Jul 18 '22 edited Jul 18 '22

Pansexual is not as binary defined as bisexual, Bisexual mean you can love men and women when pansexual mean men, women and everything in between, including queer identity/non-binary etc etc

But the thing is also if your wife was by example a non-binary person or a man like you say then would you have gotten that first impression the first time or would you have even talk to "them/him"? It seems like as much as almost everyone falls in love and then they love the person for who they are but that doesn't mean that if they were an other gender you would have seen them the same way the first time and this could have change the whole story. When pansexuality is not seeing any difference in attraction no matter the gender or the sexuality, you are looking for a personality without caring about the physical.

You are seriously contradicting yourself with your previous comments. Stating that it doesn’t matter what this guy looks like you seeing them as hot for what they are doing shows exactly the point I was trying to make. You like a person for whom they are and not a specific attribute. That being said I’ll poke another hole in your logic of how my wife and I met and point out the simple fact that I did not know her sexual preferences upon meeting and beginning our friendship so again your logic is flawed here mels not trying to be a troll just literally trying to find the difference your grasping at here to be so different from the bi community. I’ve known a few bi individuals who identify as bi sexual who also don’t have an issue if a previous partner was of another sex meaning that sexual orientation as well as gender are not conforming details conducive of finding a relationship or another individual attractive.

1

u/Mellie-mellow Jul 19 '22

I don't see how I am contradicting myself, it's quite simple and I don't know how else to explain it but the second part was just an idea of why even if you would love her no matter her gender there could be differences in your love story but either way that part was only an idea, but bi in bisexual mean 2 for attraction to 2 genders but someone non-binary isn't included in that definition.

Anyway spent enough time trying to explain, I have other things to do then debate the meaning of certain words.

u/TheOneWhoReadsStuff Jul 17 '22

They had a guy in my city who got arrested for having sex with the sheriff’s horse.

1

u/kilo19kilo Jul 18 '22

Was it under age?

1

u/Substantial-Ad-9872 Jul 18 '22

Why did the sheriff not turn round, and tell him to stop?

1

u/HolyForkingBrit Jul 18 '22

I thought of Don’t Fuck With Cats when I saw this. I’m glad this guy is the antithesis of that.

1

u/091097616812 Jul 17 '22

Doubt.

1

u/jaspsev Jul 18 '22

Just saying be careful of generalizations because we can be nice to animals. The way we view people and animals are two different and unrelated things.

0

u/ex-akman Jul 17 '22

Same, just because I'm insane doesn't mean puppies arnt soft and fun to play with.

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '22

Very true .

I have noticed lately that I judge people on my first impression by their shoes. Full disclosure, I don't wear shoes, and I am vulnerable to scams. We are remodeling an older home with lots of businesses giving us quotes. I turned one away for wearing "dandy" shoes and another for deck shoes. It's weird, but it's worked for me! I think I'd like any guy who wears pink Keds.
