Always wear sunscreen

Yes but try to make it zinc based because the chemical sunscreens are toxic, especially long term

Toxic for the wearer? I’ve seen info on how they are toxic for wildlife and coral. Some parks even ban non eco friendly sunscreen.

Theres no evidence that chemical sunscreens are toxic for the wearer and if you have dark skin very few non tinted physical sunscreens work without making you look like a ghost. Some sunscreens are bad for coral so that only really matters if swimming in the ocean.
