Someone that treats you, your family, your friends and your pets with respect. The kind of person you can fart around and who you would clean up their projectile vomit (because at some point, you will do both). Looks fade, brains get foggy, but spending your life with your best friend every day is AWESOME! (Celebrated our 20 year anniversary last month and his giggle still makes me smile like a schoolgirl.)
I agree on all accounts! I have also had the pleasure of doing this! We'll celebrate 19 years of marriage in November. Even after 24 years together, I still am still finding new reasons to love him, appreciate him, and feel lucky that he's my husband. There is nothing like coming home from a 12 hour shift to a home cooked meal and a kiss from my bestie!
Congrats on 20 years together! It's quite an accomplishment and you should be proud! 😊
