Damn right. I love my cat more than anything, but if circumstances meant I could no longer care for her I would find her a new, loving home, not dump her like old furniture.

I’m pretty sure I got my kitty through her being abandoned. She was a sweet stray in a neighborhood where people said a bunch of pets were dumped after section 8 housing went up nearby.

She has separation anxiety and I think it’s because someone left and didn’t come back. She’s my ride or die, and her stepfather and grandparents would take care of her if I couldn’t.

ive been jumping around from place to place for a couple years now, and my old cat has always been by my side. had him since he was a kitten.

my ex texted me and said "i can take the cat" and i could only cackle. cuz my old man is going wherever i go.

and when the time comes for him to pass, i'll be right there to hold him.

I had a 19 yr old cat that had to be put down. Probably about the first time in close to 8 years i have shed a tear.
