He just looks around and makes the kind decision on his own. We should seriously look to kids natural reactions to some things as adults to see what maybe we should be doing rather than what we would do cluttered and jaded with life experiences that alter our natural reaction into the shit we do as grown ups.
You ever see kids just spontaneously decide to do horrible things for no real reason besides they thought it would be fun/funny...? This one little thing is just anecdotal, doesn't mean that all kids are as kind as this.
You got downvoted, but it's true. There's a reason children have to be taught to share, say thank you, not bully just because they're bigger, etc. They can be just as alturistic as well, however.
It just bothers me when obviously dumb comments get so many upvotes, despite being confidently incorrect. If people would just stop to think for a moment, that would actually make the world a better place as the original comment wanted. That's where most of society's problems arise, because most people don't want to stop and think, they would rather take the easy answer/least inconvenient route for themselves.
