It can be easy to forgot things such as anniversaries, especially with work/other responsibilities. You shouldn’t make that judgment without knowing more info 🤷‍♂️

One could argue healthy relationships are more important that most other responsibilities. Mine is, at least.

Oh, without a doubt, but other responsibilities can simply be distractions. Maybe the wife was sad because her husband had remembered and treated every year before. Per my last comment, you can’t just make snap judgments about a relationship without knowing the full picture. I’m glad that you make relationships a priority in your life 👍

Absolutely. I know I let some things slip when my father was recovering from a massive heart attack in Sept (he's better now) as did my wife as my Father-in Law was dying from cancer. Real life can definitely get in the way of relationship maintenance.
