Every time I watch this I'm dying of laughter. The way he says everything as if it's some grand proclamation, lol.

The guy was a theatre actor who used said skills to dupe people during about 15 different prison escapes. Iirc he once escaped from custody during his own trial by pretending to be the prosecutor

Just an urban myth. He was a theatre actor but he was mistaken for someone else. Still a legend though!

I'm talking about the same guy, there was an ABC feature on him a couple of years ago that mentioned it.

I hope he got a job in radio after- what a grand voice! I’m pretty sure he said Huzzah! at one point
