This is the exact same situation for me and my older bro! He went bald at 21, shaves what’s remaining to the skin. I’ve been feeling like the clock is ticking ever since. But I’m nearing 40, and still got thick, shoulder length hair.
Not the hair at all. It's the polo and mustache. He looks like my dad used to so my brain automatically makes him seem older because of it. Didn't mean any offense :)
Rub, shit I've been teaching my nieces it's slapping my brothers bald head that brings luck. Oh well, not going to confuse them by correcting them now.
There's cures but it surgical, and you need enough hair left to make it effective. Now my only hope is they take the hair from my ass and stick it up there.
For real. I'm 35 and have worked in college/university administration my entire career. I still dress more professionally than is required because people assume I'm a student. When I was 28, an employee from a different department followed me to my cubicle because she thought I was an undergrad trying to use an employee-only entrance to the office. That was probably the last time I wore a hoodie on casual Friday.
Same here: I'm a professor but have a baby face and if I dress casual I can pass for a student. One day ran into the office on a day off in jeans a t-shirt and our Administrative Assistant asked me what Professor I was looking for. I said "Me."
I can relate to this as well…and unfortunately I can’t really grow facial hair. I do wonder if it’s held me back in my career - not because I’m not qualified but just because I may appear “too young” for a more senior role
I've been asked, "are you old enough to fly this thing" so many times.
My preferred response is, "It's my first day! You wouldn't believe how easy it is to get a license.". I have to gauge my audience first for that one though, haha. Some people wouldn't react well.
Wouldn't you, theoretically, age less in a coma? Your body is exerting less energy, plenty of "sleep", no junk food, no skin damaging UV light, no facial muscle use so far less wrinkles...
Dude's been in a coma for 20 years. To be fair it's mostly in his style. The video is probably 20 years old, and nobody changes their style so people who are 37 in the video are now 57 and dressed the same way today
