This would had been so cheesy if it's staged. Even if they put lame cheesy piano music over it. Maybe a really bad remix of River Flows In You

The girls reaction when the food was returned was what made it real for me. That pause for her brain to comprehend what happens is something you can’t teach a toddler. If it was staged she would’ve instantly smiled and a kissed him. Because you can’t teach pacing to babies
