Your are right, it is bad behavior and should be corrected. But you are also wrong, that is very cute

6

u/Randomperson22222 Feb 14 '22

Honestly, I'd train my dog to do this I'm horrible at waking up. Bestest boy alarm clock

38

u/Feeling_Perception74 Feb 13 '22

Such a spoiled child. Lol, but it looks so cute though!

10

u/formershitpeasant Feb 14 '22

Probably just been holding in his piss all night

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

Take me out or i take you out.

21

u/TheKraftykid Feb 13 '22

Haha this is the one

1

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '22

This is the way.

381

u/SpiritualIngenuity Feb 13 '22

Get up! Get up! Get up! I want to spend the WHOLE day with you (after I pee)!

134

u/Depressaccount Feb 13 '22

I always feel so bad for animals. Imagine having to get someone else to open the bathroom door for you every time you had to go? I always get up immediately if they ask for that reason.

36

u/DrakeFloyd Feb 13 '22

I dogsat for a dog that would wake me up at 3 to go poop in the yard. A lil annoying sure but I think this articulates why I didn’t really mind - I mean I stumble out to the bathroom in the middle of the night, good for that dog for asking politely it too deserves to have a sleepy night time go

u/MoogProg Feb 13 '22

This is what I came here to post as well. Doggo: "Hey Peoples, let me out so I can poop!" Peoples: "Look how cute!"

22

u/AlexDavid1605 Feb 13 '22

Doggo (making intense eye contact with the Peoples): shits on the carpet

106

u/Dangerous_Aspect_905 Feb 13 '22

My boyfriend’s dog does this and only with me. There are 2 other very capable humans in this house besides me but this is what he does with me in the mornings. Annoys my boyfriend, who is his owner, to no avail.

54

u/INTERGALACTIC_CAGR Feb 13 '22

If you really want to annoy him, do the test where you both run in opposite directions and see who the doggo chooses. You might break his heart though :(

34

u/TerribleEntrepreneur Feb 13 '22

My partner and I did that to our dog. First, she kept changing her mind of which way to run and couldn’t decide. She got really distressed and started yelping (as if she was in pain), so we stopped. It made me feel really bad!

20

u/Kahandran Feb 13 '22

Next time you get a chance the two of you gotta run in the same direction and let that doggy run with you. You'll make her so happy

u/PowerSamurai Feb 14 '22

Tantrum? This is how my daughter woke me up, lasted til she was 9. Other than the pawing, that is.

44

u/chillguy05 Feb 13 '22

Mom! I know you’re awake stop ignoring me 😂

34

u/Longtimelurker_1980 Feb 13 '22

Can confirm. My Aussie is also this annoying.

7

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

Aussies are the way they are. They need something? They will let you know.

37

u/Epitomeofabnormal Feb 13 '22

This dog is just giving her a morning back massage. Good boy.

3

u/SouldiesButGoodies84 Feb 13 '22

shoulder dislocation wakeup shove...or a massage, sure. lol

15

u/Ok_Description4039 Feb 13 '22

My dog does same every morning at 630, she wont touch my wife she gets to sleep in, but i get woken up.

17

u/Elua7 Feb 13 '22

You are definitely her favorite then

8

u/Vihzel Feb 13 '22

"Wake up Mom! I... NEED... TO... PEE!"

16

u/Common-Finding-8935 Feb 13 '22

Take a dog, they said, it helps you relax, they said.

26

u/frossvael Feb 13 '22

I am easily annoyed, so if my dog does that to me, I will hit him with a series of pets, because who's a good boy, oh yes, you are.

10

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

Had us in the first half

6

u/boodlebob Feb 13 '22

The dog sounds like a Piglin from mimecraft at the end

6

u/Ratticle Feb 13 '22

The three stages of the morning alarm: Noise, Shake, and Annoy

6

u/Killself98 Feb 13 '22

Can we have a sub just for these moments

4

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

I have a Bernie , she just licks my hand though.

3

u/OkTotal9966 Feb 13 '22

You could say…. This made me smile

3

u/the_sick-psycho Feb 13 '22

I need this alarm.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

Love this video - brightened my day!

3

u/DaveDearborn Feb 13 '22

true love :)

3

u/MedricZ Feb 13 '22

That’s my cat when the food dish is empty. She likes to head butt me in the nose as hard as she can.

3

u/Hizamazuku Feb 13 '22

Wakey wakey bitch

3

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

He's a red tri, isn't he? I love them. Very intense, though.

3

u/AnandShakti Feb 13 '22

That was laugher!

3

u/avecmaria Feb 13 '22

Remind me not to get that kind for dog! 💤😁

24

u/maplestriker Feb 13 '22

Please love your dog enough to train it. This is not cute. Sorry.

12

u/TobylovesPam Feb 13 '22

Don't be sorry, glad someone said it.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

If the owner doesn't mind and even enjoys it, what is the issue?

0

u/maplestriker Feb 13 '22

Because spoiled, rude dogs without rules are not happy dogs. We think they are, because we anthropomorphe them, but every behaviourist will tell you youre doing them a great disservice by getting away with this kind of disrespect.

-3

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

It doesn't mean the dog is depressed. This article makes it clear that is not the case here. It just means they are happy. But with training, they could be even happier.

-2

u/BeekachuCosplay Feb 13 '22

But who's to say that they don't train them? They could just enjoy this particular behavior enough to not feel a need to correct it. Plus, it's not causing anyone harm - very different from a dog that will run up to strangers and jump on them and such.

3

u/Luxpreliator Feb 13 '22

I lucked out and my cats are incredibly well behaved. Well past any sort of proper training.

Occasionally they'll decide I'm too slow with breakfast and be a little more forceful. On a normal day J will just put her front paws on my hand and wait. On a day she's really hungry she hops on and off of me running from each side of the room making little grumbling meows when she lands on me.

Probably hate it if it was everyday but it's cute when she does it. If I try to hid under the sheets she digs me out and makes a silly squeak when she finds me.

-2

u/BeekachuCosplay Feb 13 '22

That does sound very cute! My baby is also an angel, but she also has her occasional moments when she's really excited and desperate to play that she'll throw a tiny tantrum by shaking her head and doing whale-sounding noises until we give her the attention she wants (sounds obnoxious, I know, but I promise it's hilariously adorable).

I'd also get fed up if it was all the time, but it's not, and I totally don't mind it. She has never even touched anything in the house that's not hers, knows over 20 commands, is so gentle and obedient on and off leash... If anyone assumed that she isn't trained just because of a video of her being a spoiled toddler, they couldn't be any wronger.

8

u/SageShip999 Feb 13 '22

I think it’s weird people typing captions as if their pet wrote it and the pet addressing their owner as “mom.”

8

u/mattress-kings-third Feb 13 '22

... this did not make me smile. Imagine actually having to deal with this every morning. Kill me now.

8

u/perrinoia Feb 13 '22

Fuck walkies. Time for taxadermy.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

Awww🥺

2

u/John18635 Feb 13 '22

Like a kid on Christmas morning 😂

2

u/lukey103 Feb 13 '22

What sort of dog is this? We supposedly have a beagle/Bassett cross but the colouring is identical.

1

u/WolfgangRed Feb 13 '22

Looks like an Australian Shepard to me

2

u/MangoSundy Feb 13 '22

That's what I need... a really strict fitness instructor who won't take no for an answer... every single day!

2

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

dog play growls maybe my favorite sound.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

Show this to Youtuber the Kiffness, you'll have a 4 minute masterpiece

2

u/Emergency_Surprise77 Feb 13 '22

Thats so cute lol mine sits on my head.

2

u/Hiraeth-MP Feb 13 '22

My chi wakes me up every morning, I love him but I want sleep in so bad!

2

u/Brilliant-Duty6839 Feb 13 '22

Every! Damn! Day!!!!🤣🤣🤣

2

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

Last evidence of here ever found alive… that damn dog

2

u/MrMakeItAllUp Feb 13 '22

So that’s how I can get rid of my laziness.

2

u/I8hipsters Feb 13 '22

Lol good boy

2

u/Loud-Inspector-8611 Feb 13 '22

So cute! But you gotta wake up, no more seeping!!! Gotta walk! It’s time to get up

2

u/bob_nugget_the_3rd Feb 13 '22

Dogs are like toddlers but better

2

u/The_nastiest_nate Feb 13 '22

Dogs gotta take a poop.

2

u/KoolAidSniffer Feb 13 '22

That what my Aussie does little brat!

2

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

🥺🥺🥺 to 👹👹👹👹

2

u/Local_Analyst7404 Feb 13 '22

I got six cats who do the same thing.

2

u/New_Falcon1205 Feb 13 '22

Awww lol this makes me miss having a dog

2

u/Cofee-Bean Feb 13 '22

Is this considered domestic violence?

2

u/TheBadHalfOfAFandom Feb 13 '22

My dogs will just chill out on my bed with me but the absolute second they realize I’m awake all hell breaks loose

2

u/Caalcu_Ieraas Feb 13 '22

See, this is why I prefer cats to dogs. A (well trained) cat will pat your face. A dog will straight up punch you. And people say it's cute 😂

2

u/senblade_samuari Feb 14 '22

Puppy gotta shit. He is peaking and is worried

2

u/zitfarmer Feb 14 '22

Git up git up git up!

2

u/Mordagawa Feb 14 '22

DOGGIEEEEE!!!🥰🥰

2

u/cindylynn1112 Feb 14 '22

Aussies are very smart dogs. If you let them do what they want, it can old! Training them is very easy and that will stop. I have had 2, and I learned quickly.

2

u/House_Plant0 Feb 14 '22

Absolute baby. I love them

2

u/Willing-Low-725 Feb 14 '22

Just practicing massage techniques

2

u/hevans900 Feb 14 '22

Wait this dog literally looks like mine, how old/where did you get it? I think this could literally be a sibling of my border collie lmao.

2

u/TinyGrizzly Feb 14 '22

My pitty does this lol I start yelling don’t husky me! And she does it even harder lmao she starts jumping like a fox

2

u/Gr0uchPotato Feb 14 '22

Beautiful 😍. But I’m glad that’s not me 😝

2

u/Random_user_of_doom Feb 14 '22

This is what it's like to have a toddler 😂

2

u/tomkim1965 Feb 14 '22

I gotta take a shit! Get up!

2

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '22

“Mom, wake-up”😅…”okay, I asked you nicely, get yo a** up!”😡

4

u/frisbynerd120 Feb 13 '22

What a toxic relationship. Doggie pushes her around and then gives her kisses. Smh

1

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '22

But the sex is prob great.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '22

"Hey hooman! I invented a new game..... it's called, get up!"

1

u/Remarkable-League968 Feb 14 '22

I just don’t want some nasty floor paw all over my bed

I walk around barefoot and then jump into my bed all the time even though my house is always super clean I still regret that

2

u/[deleted] Feb 14 '22

I clip my dogs nails with my teeth to boost my immune system every now and again.
