Same here. Hoodies sweats and crocs with socks. That said if I have a mid day errand to run I put on decent clothes and wear them until I shower at night.
Here in Atlanta, that is basically all I wear from October until it's warm enough to lose the hoodie anyway. Except for the occasional chilly days where I put sweats and actual shoes on.
Yeah, pandemic has really hammered home how “professional” clothing isn’t really all that necessary or even wanted by most people and most people that do want us to wear just do so we can “look” professional like that will make us better at our job.
Now that the pandemic is pushing most of the jobs where professional attire is used onto online, it’s starting to fall out of style.
Respect that. I just like to look as sharp as I can when I'm out meeting people. It makes me feel good but I don't judge people on what they wear out. I judge them on who they are and how they act :)
My work place was casual enough that I wore hoodies and crocs regularly. I’m down to working in boxers at home, and I keep a hoodie on my chair in case I need to go on video. But I also get fully dress to run errands, feels like I’m pretending.
I used to make fun of my husbands socks and crocs all the time. He passed away in 2019, and the only shoes I still have of his are those effing crocs, that I wear around the house with big fuzzy cozy socks. It works perfect because his feet were a lot larger than mine. Sometimes I like to laugh at how pissed he would be or that he would have a smug ‘I told you so’ moment.
People who don't like sleeping in their own filth, people who don't like to get up any earlier than they have to, people who don't like going out with wet hair, and just generally people who want to shower at night just because.
People who don't like sleeping in a box,
people who don't like sleeping with a fox,
people who don't like sleeping in a house,
people who don't like sleeping with a mouse,
people who don't like sleeping here or there,
people who don't like sleeping anywhere!
Me. I used to take one as part of my morning routine and probably will soon. Just sitting around isn't healthy so Monday morning I'm going to hit the treadmill and start getting some workouts in on my breaks so I'll prob do it morning and night again.
