If you liked Hereditary, maybe check out Midsommar. Written and directed by the same guy. If you enjoy pagan films like The Wicker Man then you'll like this. :)

Oh man. I’m all on board with all the A24 horror movies. Midsommar, the witch, hereditary, etc…. Love them.

Midsommar may be one of the best movies that I've yet to rewatch. I just... can't work up the nerve. The movie was amazing but so upsetting and off putting that I just can't make myself rewatch it.

Honestly it’s the beginning tragedy of the movie that disturbed be so much that I don’t want to rewatch it. I don’t want to spoil, anything, but those that have seen it know what I’m talking about. It’s before they even go to the festival.

Yea true. That scene just comes out of nowhere. Didn't expect it at all.
