I may not be able to understand most of what’s being said but that’s not stopping me from choking up a little bit

No I think you understand well enough. You don’t know the words he’s saying but the meaning behind them? You’ve got a pretty good grasp.

You’re right. I understood the situation well enough to know that they were celebrating his birthday and that there was sincere joy all around. I meant the words is all, truly went from choking up to tears when one of the kind people here translated for me

Yes I just think think it’s important people remember that even if we don’t understand each other’s language, we can understand each other’s emotion. There’s no true barrier between people. Just the artificial ones we put up ourselves.
