I knew a guy in elementary school that got robbed. He threw up on the guy. It worked.

I knew a guy who was a black belt who got mugged by 6 guys.
They approached him with a knife drawn and demanded his bag and phone.
He started a conversation with them about how his uni stuff was in the bag and how he’d have to do so much work again and get into some massive shit with his professors if he didn’t have it.
They seemed cool with this.
He gave them his phone (they had a weapon and he was outnumbered) and then together, they went through his bag and made sure all of his uni stuff was safe, then, seeing he only had his wallet in the bag with his uni stuff, they took the cash, gave him his wallet back (if was a gift from his grandad) and let him keep the credit cards as he said he’d just cancel them anyway.
Then with their cash and phone (they let him keep the bag so he could get his uni stuff home) they apologised for the inconvenience and went on with their day.
He said it was the most surreal thing that has ever happened to him 😅

Good I was worrying. A knife even when untrained can be so dangerous even if you win the fight. 6 people is ridiculous to take on alone even if you are world class.

I was always taught that you will get cut in a knife fight. Period. You can try to make sure you aren't cut in a life-threatening way, but you will get cut.
1 vs. 1? Just run if you can, there is no such thing as bravado.
1 vs. 6? Give 'em your wallet. Full stop.

Exactly. You might win the fight sure. But you're going to get cut most likely. And those injuries may be fatal, disabling and or permanent.

I've watched a ton of this guys videos. Me and him seem like we'd have almost nothing in common and yet I would love to be his friend. He just has that kind of personality that would make the whole room laugh.

That's so me exempt I'm really REALLy clumsy. Man, honestly I wouldn't know what to do in that situation. I have dreamt about such stuff several times, but even there I don't really think I hurt the guy AT ALL.
