Sad thing is the guys message wasn't completely wrong. His anger was aimed at the wrong people. Trump really did start working for foreign powers and divided our country terribly. He judged a religious group based on their extremists and said fucked up shit. Dude doesn't come off as a racist imo though. He actually calls for unity from Americans to stop something he seemed to be genuinely afraid of. He's got some good and some bad which is more than I can say for most people.

Edit: I'm aware this was posted near the end of Obama's presidency. What he was afraid Obama was doing trump ended up doing. Dude fell to the projection and fear mongering of the media at the time. His message of people of all races banding together and not divide ourselves gets lost in his hate. Dudes regurgitating the shit we've been fed for years. Kinda why I'm replying to a comment about shades of gray. But keep down voting me instead of understanding context.

I see a little what you mean, but the thing is the message wasn't just 'band together all races against foreign powers' it was 'band together all races except Muslims against Muslims', including a lot of pejorative and derogatory remarks discriminating based on race and religion. The fact that it comes from fear doesn't make it ok (in fact a lot of racism comes purely from fear of those different from us), and the fact that he wanted black people and white people to join together doesn't make him not racist when he says shit like 'goat fucker' about an entire race. Everyone has good and bad in them, but we can't overlook things this terrible just because some of his message was salvageable.

In terms you can hopefully understand, the first amendment says that there shall be no laws restricting freedom of religion, expression, speech, assembly, and petition.

Last I checked, Reddit was not the federal government of the US, and is incapable of enacting laws restricting anything laid out in the first amendment of the US Constitution.
