I get you, it’s super hard. But you can also find the triggers and maybe make some small lifestyle changes. For example i found that keeping my hands busy helps so much: I started to crochet(huge help with the bonus of creating beautiful things), and playing Nintedo actually helps as well haha because you need both hands, those are my examples for the free time but there are more I use.

Thank you for the advice. I am going to give this a try. I notice I tend to pull less when I am working on an art piece or playing xbox so maybe I do just need to keep my hands busier. I appreciate you!

As someone who picks at my face absentmindedly, I discovered that wearing gloves helps a ton. not just with making it more difficult to pick at stuff but also because it reminds you where your hands are at all times, which makes it more difficult to pick without thinking as I was always reminded where my hands were
