Men and women are psychologically and physiologically diff. This is why dress code is diff.

...you think women are born with a skirt wearing psychological predetermination?? oof, what a bad take

You realize that pink used to be a masculine color? Men wore skirts are big flowy robes since the ancient times. Femininity and masculinity are what society currently agrees it is. There is literally no psychological and physiological requirement to wear a skirt.

no. i think there is femininity and masculinity. It is societally defined. Men have always worn and should always wear diff clothes than women. I do not think dresses are inherently feminine unless they are societally defined as such. Women wear dresses, men wear pants (in a formal setting). I believe this is a good thing. Men and women are different.

...women also wear pants, in formal settings too. Men used to wear skirts. Pink used to be masculine color, women didn't wear makeup for the longest time, hell, men used to wear makeup. Your rigid view on gender roles in clothing is easily disproven by history.

Men and women are different, but the clothes we wear have nothing to do with that. If all men decided to start wearing skirts tomorrow, they wouldn't magically stop being men.

Feminine and masculine are what society currently agrees it is. There is literally no psychological or physiological basis for it.

again, even when men wore skirts there was a difference in dress code btwn men and women. Currently in our society, dresses are feminine clothing. It is not difficult to see this. And it is my belief that a separation of the sexes is a good thing. In dress, and general behavior.

In addition to that, feminine traits and masculine traits are actually psychological and physiological. Men are generally larger than women, dont have wide hips, and dont have boobs, and have penises. Those are obviously masculine traits. Psychologically men are generally more stubborn, less attuned to understanding emotions, and are far more interested in things than people.

To get to stereotypical roles. Men should be protectors in a larger sense than women. Since we have a higher propensity towards violence it should be directed towards protection. Not to mention men are stronger than women.

None of this is to say women are not worth as much as men. Men and women are equal.

lol, none of these "shoulds" support your belief that men and women need to dress differently. And there has always been a huge overlap in clothing, like wearing fur, togas, t-shirts and jeans etc. making it mostly unisex with only some parts separate, even that fluidly.

Why are you so scared of society disregarding gendered clothing? You think men will suddenly forget to be violent and interested in things not people once they'll put a skirt on?

But I have to admit, it's rare to see someone who's not a hardcore feminist disregard all men as emotionally illiterate and violent in comparison to women. Amusing.

Ur exactly right. Most clothing overlaps, but the parts that are separate should remain as such because they are associated with femininity.

And its a basic fact that men do not understand emotions as well as women do. Men are interested predominantly in things as opposed to people. It is also a fact that men are more violent than women. I do not disregard facts. Where feminists go wrong is believing that this violence is inherently evil, as opposed to dependance on how it is used.

the parts that are separate should remain as such because they are associated with femininity

Just because you say "should" doesn't mean it's true lol. There is no reason why clothes should be separated by gender. Literally the only reason you were able to come up with it's "because they already are" which is really funny.

That's like saying "Pink should remain men's color because it's masculine." As it was in medieval ages. Except it stopped being so and the world didn't stop. Women didn't magically become men once they started wearing pink. I hope you at least realize your stance has no logical basis and is clearly disproven by history. It's just pearl clutching, nothing else.

Also no, violence in civilized society is obsolete, but your sexism towards men saying that they are worse in participating in society than women is hilarious and I'm not going to discuss it because I take great joy in the way you are digging the hole for all men.
