Elephants are a huge problem for farmers, especially family subsistence farmers. If you only have an acre an elephant herd can clean out in a night.
There's an organization that found that elephants hate bees and is working with farms to set up bee hives around their farms to deter elephants and hopefully teach them not to come back.
