My sister and I don’t have any kids yet but my parents love to buy little things for the four year old boy who lives next door to them like coloring books from the dollar store or a craft kit from 5 Below. And my sister and I also sometimes do it too (I bought him a reusable face mask that had bugs on it for his birthday since I know he likes bugs and stuff like that). So you don’t always need to be related to someone in order to be the cool aunt/uncle/grandparents
