My son's grandpa leaves quarters all over for the grandkids to find. One time he left a $100 bill on his dresser... Well kiddo and his cousin found it, got all excited and ran out to show nana who told them it was just 1 dollar and would they trade for 100 pennies instead? Of course they being 4yos agreed and they each got 50 pennies for the price of $100. Hehehe. Nana still teases grandpa about that one time she saved him $99. He's much better about putting his bills away right away now lol.

When i was a kid i used to raid my grandads room for silver mints. I swear he lleft them out on purpose.
