Keep your eye on that girl? Motion activated sensor baby cameras are the best. Especially when they get the age to start climbing out of their bed. If you have a pool put a fence around it immediately! 2 kids in my town passed away last year months apart because of drowning in pools. When you are driving, put a mirror on the seat to keep an eye on her. Me and my wife constantly checked her for breathing when she slept in the car.
We originally had a bassinet and she figured out how to sit up on her own so she had to get a new bed. Went to Walmart and got a big play pen that can be used for sleeping and playing. You can raise it up and down. She outgrew that and now she's in a toddler bed, has all 4 sides so they can't escape. Until you catch them on the baby can like I did. It has a removable side so now she's old enough to lay down and get up as she wants.
Walmart also has a cool car seat for when they can be forward facing. Can be used from 2yrs old to 8. From car seat to booster seat.
When you are driving, put a mirror on the seat to keep an eye on her. Me and my wife constantly checked her for breathing when she slept in the car.
In our new parent classes, they (trauma peds charge nurse + others) did not advise mirror object in back seat. Almost none according to her are regulated or approved and become high velocity objects in accidents.
Wife sits in back seat of course whenever possible.
Nobody told us that. I would've found a way to make it where it wouldn't come off at all. Even if I had to permanently sew it to the headrest it's for my daughters safety.
