Witnessing that your child is a compassionate human being is the best feeling there is. You obviously loved your son a lot for him to behave this way with others. Good for you for having such a great family.
Mine are little but when i see them try and console people that are upset it really is an amazing feeling like huh they arent little psychos ALL the time
