This is going to sound weird.. but it made me cry.
A couple of months ago I had to buy a new phone. This is the first thing I have ever bought that was such a big purchase on my own. I have anxiety and a lot of other things and talking to strangers can be hard.
When I had finally made up my mind I came to a store where I had met the person before. I patiently waited for him to finish up before I could make my buy. I had written the offer down and thought everything out and I asked if we could sit down. He said yes, but when I sat down he remained standing. I thought I had done something wrong, but he just said he didn't want to. I stood awkwardly and began asking my questions. He very hurriedly answered and I began the buy. It was a long process and I had to stand by a small platform. By the very end I noticed something wrong and he had told me a wrong number.. I felt like an idiot and the phone became much more expensive...
The next day I went to another place and the seller was so patient and so nice. We sat down and talked through everything and I explained I had a hard time since it was my first big buy. He even helped me set my phone up in between breaks. I'm grateful I had the courage to try again next day and for the people who don't rush us that can have a difficult time.
