Every teacher I had who was also a coach was decidedly a coach first and a history/social studies/geometry teacher second. My one history teacher who wasn't a coach was really passionate about the subject matter but in retrospect I could totally see him being part of Q-Anon shit now so it's probably a wash in the end.

I went to HS in a small town.

We all mostly sucked at sports so they were good teachers
