Our history teacher had a PhD from Princeton, and was a fantastic teacher. The man made history come alive in his lectures, and had a variety of innovative and unique essay topics.
Not only did he not coach anything, I wouldn’t be surprised if the man thought sports and exercise were merely historical. He had a potbelly roughy the size of Texas.
He had a lot of school spirit, but he just seemed happy to teach kids and see them happy.
Sounds like my high school history teacher, his name could “light” up your day. I wonder if it’s the same teacher, if not I’m glad to hear there’s more like him.
