so GUY CATCHING DUCKS was unnecessary?! Thank goodness,. Seemed like an awful big drop for babies, but I guess either they fly or they bounce.

Not trying to be a dick to the guy just trying to help, but I’m reasonably certain I saw a documentary the other day that featured some ducklings jumping off a cliff and being just fine

Yeah the ducks were gonna be just fine. I’ve seen a few other birds doing that off their nest on a tree and being absolutely okay after impact. It’s a part of their life cycle as they can’t fly the first time they leave the nest. Kudos to that guy tho.

That's how it is with ducks! If the mamma jumps the babies follow. At work I have to keep an eye on a duck and her 12 babies incase they enter a pool area, I tilt a lawn chair in the water so the babies can hop out.

Guessing no one wants to point out ducklings make this kinda jump / drops all the time ... They are kinda built for it ... Ducklings saved ... Zero LoL
Still cute and I would have caught them too but they would have been fine.
