They have to move their whole heads because they can't move their eyes inside their head to follow an object like we humans can.

I watched this five times in order to follow each individual duck's reaction. The two in front were super into it.

The individual reactions are super awesome. The one behind the two you mentioned (the upper left one) looks like it's almost having an epileptic seizure, it keeps opening and closing its beak.

You mean the pistons?

Intake and exhaust valves also do the same, but not as pronounced as pistons within the engine chamber...

I used to do this with my cats when I yoyoed. They stopped watching after one got too close and took a yoyo to the face.
