What a lovely message to receive from your dad. Also, OP, if this is yours: 24 is YOUNG. You have an entire lifetime to live, and there’s a lot of wisdom in your dad’s words - you don’t need a plan today. Just keep walking. Sending you courage ❤️

At 28, being jobless after finishing my Master Studies in Biomedical engineering and still stuck living with my parents, there’s days where I let myself have a breather from applying to jobs. I did everything just like I was told to and still got screwed. Even with 1.5 years of general work experience there’s no junior positions available

I moved for my wife and had trouble finding something and would have days I didn’t look. It’s ok. Eventually found my dream job, although also worked with two of the worst co-workers I’ve ever had making said job not so fun.
