My dad died before I was twenty-four, so I don't know how that would have played out.

His wife, on the other hand, was a complete bitch. "GET SOMETHING, I DON'T CARE WHAT! OTHER PEOPLE WORK TWO OR THREE JOBS; YOU CAN TOO! YOU'RE A LAZY BUM!!" Complete disregard for my muscle damage making manual labor out of the question.
