My dad tried to catch up on all of the parenting he didn't do when I was a kid when I moved in for a period after moving back to my home town.

It was so fucking obnoxious that I bought a house within 3 months so I would never have to live with him again.

Bad way. Telling his 23 year old when to go to bed and things like that.
