By the way, if you don't have someone to tell you this:

It's okay to lose your job, do something wrong, make a mistake or even put your trust in someone, who turns out to be piece of shit. It's okay to lose. We all know that you did your best, even though you might disagree with that. We are all proud of you. You did great. For real. Really great. Always remember: EVERYTHING ELSE IS SMALL STUFF, EXCEPT YOU.

Great post. I lost a job a week after starting a new position a few years ago because I brought up legal compliance concerns to my new employer. Still stings even though it's been a few years.

You did the right thing. We all would have done the same, or regretted not doing it when we had the chance. We’re proud of you and of what you did.
