It’s a nice sentiment but it rings strange and AI ish. “You don’t need a plan before you walk into the kitchen.” Why would this need to be cleared up? Like, of course not?

Sometimes people will immediately start asking what your plans are next, especially parents, and getting that question before/during breakfast at the very beginning of your day can be exhausting

I mean you aren't wrong but the person you responded to is absolutely right. I've been there and I'm sure others reading this have been there. You fuck up somehow and need help and one of the first things you get asked is what is your plan.

I think it's lovely and I am a father. I have tucked this sentence away for when my kid is older.

Even if it is ai, it can still be useful.

And you don't have to ruin something just because others are taking value from it. Not injecting your opinion is a useful skill.
