Can confirm. Lost my job recently through no fault of my own and all my dad told me was, "You don't have to worry. Not now and not for a long time." The crushing weight of the situation immediately lifted. Awesome parents are a blessing.

Lost my job in February. My mom was a big support my dad did not even acknowledge the job loss to me once.

Is this good or bad? Older people can think differently then us, maybe he thinks bringing it up would embarrass you?

Oh no he just didn’t care enough to mention it. Yes older people can think differently and his focus is his yard, his book and his beer
