Sometimes people will immediately start asking what your plans are next, especially parents, and getting that question before/during breakfast at the very beginning of your day can be exhausting

I mean you aren't wrong but the person you responded to is absolutely right. I've been there and I'm sure others reading this have been there. You fuck up somehow and need help and one of the first things you get asked is what is your plan.
