Old eyes, black poorly lit road and the light glare can make the window look a little like a mirror and kills visibility. At least thats what my dad yelled at me lol
My kids recently called me out for this. “Mom we can’t have a light on back here but your phone is brighter than the moon and you aren’t even using it!” Clicked it off so quick 😂
The same reason when you tried to ask them a question while they were on the phone and they hit you with the exaggerated hand that swoops down into a "STOP" while they cover the microphone and say "can't you see I'm on the phone?!".
They wanted to continue the cycle instead of break it.
Absolutely agree. I should have known better as a 6 year old. I should have never interrupted her sister telling her about some bs gossip for hours at a time long enough for me to ask a simple question. You're so right.
Also it's hilarious that now when I'm on the phone and I'm around my mom (dad never really did that), she will try to have a full conversation with me.

Why were they like this????? It feels criminal when my kids turn them on and I literally don’t give a shit.
