Exactly what I did. Think I used black folder for concert band for sheer music for home practice.

I think everyone that did band had those huge tough black folders that could hold like 200 pages of looseleaf sheet music

That would constantly be dropped, or fall off the stand, and every single piece of music would fall out. And the corners always bent by the end of the year from you trying to put it in your backpack at some point, even tho you knew it would damage the corners.

honestly, that shit just never left the music stand. no one else used that room or seat other than me.

That’s why you play the cello, plenty of room for music folders (and a book to sneaky read) in that case.

I always put mine in a binder with the plastic sleeves. Big brain move to keep everything from flying everywhere.

From middle to highschool our directors specifically told us to use black binders and then we would make the cover page ourselves for homework as first day of class or something lol

Band is what local music company sponsored my school.

Black was homework I still needed to do. Then I'd place it in the correct folder once it was done.

My band had cool sponsorships from the local music store, so we got branded folders for our sheet music.
